Anyone know when to expect cbs?
I heard that the current actress is leaving very soon so I was wondering if they have already called girls back for today or this week.

Just curious... I know both girls currently in the role are brunette, as is the lead. Are your dd's? Also, did you submit via email? How long after did you hear? We were late to the game, but have not heard back for a first call, so guessing we're out.

auditions are over as far as i know. they were on saturday night. 3 girls were chosen to have mom come in to the room by casting/creative team...looked like they found what they wanted. all three were short, young, dark straight hair.

how many where there on Sat night Beanie? and only 3 were called back in that same night or 3 total where there sat?

Yes beanie is right. There were some girls who were asked to come back into the room. They were taller than my daughter and darker hair. I think I saw about 19 girls on the sign in sheet. Congratulations to the little girl who will eventually be cast!

Have any of the DD's whose moms were called in to the room to meet the creative team heard from casting about cb's?

Hi ladies, How did you hear about these auditions? I'm just trying to learn about how to find out about things. I didn't see this listing on backstage or actor's access or actor's equity. Thanks for your help!

MamaJo, I actually think I saw this on AA. But for the most part, you won't see many b'way auditions on AA or Backstage. Mostly they have agent appointments, with the occasional open call. Shows are also required to have EPAs and ECCs every 6 months, but if you child is not union they might not be seen at those auditons.

We got a meeting with casting and the creative team because we have an agent and a manager. They got the meeting for us. If you are not equity it would be pretty hard to be seen without representation getting you a meeting--unless as DM said there is an open call.
i believe binker that they were really focused on finding a child below 45". the audition seemed to illustrate that.
