Hi: With all of fall out of Sandy, have any of you been seeing many auditions going on. DD 9 usually is out multiple times per week but nothing since. Not that I'm complaining because we cant even get there at this time and I know our Agents office isnt fully up and running yet. I am just wondering what we are missing out on, if anything. I do hope all of my fellow east coasters are starting heal and hopefully we will see life returning to something close to what we can call "normal" in the not too distant future.

Been very slow for that group. Also for boys 8-11. Anyone else experiencing this?

Production was shut down during and right after Sandy for all outdoor shoots. They started up on Wednesday and auditions started up again too. DS is late teens and had two on Tuesday one on Wed and has another on Friday.

DSs had one shoot indoors last week (they are babies) but nothing else...but we are in the toddler and baby age ranges here. Our manager said things are starting to come in again, but slowly.

We are in the same age group and it was very quiet for two weeks but it now seems to be going back to normal - two auditions this week and more next.

No auditions since Sandy (9yo DD), and one small booking. I agree - very slow.

My dd had two rescheduled shoots. Public transportation, bridges, tunnels and electricity were were all affected. As a matter of fact, shoot dates were changed twice. There are issues still but things seem to be getting a little better for some. A camera man we met in my mothers neighborhood lost his vehicle, home and checks email and phone when and where electricity is available.

We had a booking and it was rescheduled for this week. No auditions but I think we are pretty much booked out till next year. So they are rescheduling things that were supposed to shoot tape or shoot last week. I'm sure things are starting up again since power is back and people are back to work.

Slow on new auditions, but pre-storm callbacks and productions haven been put back on the calendar.
