I'm attending my first casting director workshop on Sunday, and I was told to bring a headshot and a bio.

Headshot is taken care of, but I've never been asked to bring a bio before. I'm relatively new to the business.

I have been in community theatre shows. So is what they are asking for similar to what you would put in for your playbill bio? Any differences?

What about physical formatting? What kind of paper, the look, etc.

I tried googling, searching on Backstage, etc. and didn't find much.

Thanks!

Just attach an ACTING resume to the back of the headshot (cut to fit the back of the headshot and stapled twice so the resume is visible when the headshot is turned over)

They really said "bio"? That is odd.

I agree with TruthTeller, just do a resume and headshot.

Where was the workshop?

Workshop was in Hawaii. And I guess they really did want a bio!
