I've been acting for about four years now. I'll keep things simple. I love to write, but I'm so critical I can only really produce material closely wrapped around my experiences. I've only written one thing that I am truly proud of and I want to do something with it. Of course it wouldn't be very good to perform it myself. How can I get it out enough that it would give actors the opportunity to use it without making it so public that I lose claim and credit for it. I'm sorry if this is an inappropriate place to post this. Please message or comment with any feedback you may have.
Thank you.

You need to connect with a writers group. They discuss their work and have actors they work with to do table reads and eventually perform the work. I am familiar with some in NY but you will have to do some work to find some out in LA.
Find your local writers guild....

Also, do you do standup? Write your own material and perform it yourself....
