Title says it all: what would you recommend as a great book on acting techniques? Also, any other recommendations relating to either the industry or the art itself are welcome.

so far I really LOVE Auditioning: An Actor-Friendly Guide by Joanna Merlin. I'm sure it will help me in auditions.

Two more books on screen acting that have been much more useful to me than the Caine and Comey books are:

Secrets of Screen Acting - Patrick Tucker
A Screen Acting Workshop - Mel Churcher

I can't speak from personal experience but I have been told that the best book on what to expect and how to conduct yourself on a real professional set is the last few chapters of "One Less Bitter Actor" by Markus Flanagan.
