I saw Beasts of the Southern Wild before there was any sort of buzz about it. I went into it not knowing a single thing about it... judging by the name, I was thinking maybe it was a documentary. I hated it. And now with the Oscar nominations? WTF?

Was that little girl actually great?

I thought she was the only thing about the movie getting praise.
