Obviously the above post was cut off. The point is....everyone working in LA needs to read the articles from the trades listed by other posters. This is not fiction, it is reality! Hundreds of millions of $$$ are being spent on studios and even post facilities outside of LA! Smaller agencies continue to close or work part time....cd's are even losing work as so much is being cast on location. It amazes me that our leadership watches this happen with no apparent concern. Do something! Call your local politicians, the film commission, maybe even call SAG to see if there is the possibilty of forming a grass roots commitee designed to try and keep production in LA. (I have tried the latter this and have recieved no return calls). Don't just pretend it's not happening! | |||
