No problems with a lowly plain pc notebook to close the ad. And you must be non-union because LA actors got a free copy of Argo mailed to them to watch. I don't think anybody would turn down money from WB to advertise on their site or elsewhere. But, yes, the pop-up is annoying in general.

I didn't know what you guys were talking about because I use the Adblock extension for Chrome. If you're using Firefox I believe it's available for that browser as well. If you're using Internet Explorer...just don't. Can't help you with your phones though.

The pop-ups still appear for me. And I haven't bothered installing any blockers because... so few other sites pull this nonsense.

SAM is a bit naive in pointing out that this is a free service - so is Facebook and look at the grief THEY get.

This said, as a pure matter of real politik, the pop-ups are so annoying that my first concern is to be rid of them, not to read them.

Is that really what the advertiser wants?
