Chester,

Now THAT's the kind of post we hope for on this board---one that truly offers insight to your fellow actors, especially since most of us have never done sex scenes.

I echo everyone's appreciation.

Yes, Chester! Thank you so much for the education and especially the laugh. I have just been cast in an project which includes an implied make-out/sex scene and have never done one before so I came on here to gain understanding and insight from those who have gone before me. I am great full you mentioned all the awkwardness and truth about this, as I had to do several stage kisses before I was married and now that I'm pursuing acting again my husband doesn't like the idea so much, and unfortunately I am kiss scene worthy, apparently. So I'm trying to find honest info to share with him to show him its not what he thinks and bla bla bla. Stuff Which I already knew, but I appreciate you so much for opening up and sharing your experience. lets just pray I don't end mine the same way... Smiler

i noticed alot of foreign films get away with unsimulated sex in their films. The general consensus on this post seems to be that everyone is for doing sex scenes. Would all of you go as far as actually having sex on screen? Personally as and i believe if you are willing to go that far you should switch professions to something more real.
I don't care how you want to retaionalize it or make excuses that .It's from a well respected director so it's ok .I have absolutely no respect and feel insulted as and actor .By people who call themselves and actor and go and do stuff that's unsimulated .

...."All softporn I've seen, the actors have sex for real "..That doesn't make sense no softcore movie has actual penetration .Hardcore means it has penetration in it Degprinsessan what planet are you from ?

"You think there are no sex scenes that aren't meant to turn on the audience? How about rape scenes? Should we put the actor who performs a rape scene in jail since, according to you, it's impossible to not be turned on in the moment as an actor?! "

Listen you idiot sex in general is going to arouse someone that's how it works .If your parents didn't get aroused you wouldn't be here thank the good lord and your folks for that .You must be a horrible actress .Having sex is a very emotional thing its not logical but emotional .If you put a actor in a sex scene whether rape or not he's got to get aroused to feel those emotions .

Bottome line when sex is involved your going to get aroused no matter what .It's foolish to think that your aren't .Unless your some kind of android who is void of emotions period . Go back and look at the three way scene in shame .You can clearly see michael fassbenders wang banging up against his costars butt . Softcore means that it's on the line with showing penetration .You sound like a extreme leftist nutt job .Who lacks any kind of real objective logic .

You sound like a sex obsessed juvenile since this kind of thing is all you ever post about. Is it wank material for you? Is anyone asking you to do sex scenes? Why do I doubt that?

I don't get it, if you don't wanna do sexscenes then don't do them? What's the problem exactly?!
