: toothpaste on the bumps at night

Toothpaste works because it dries out of zit, but it will also horribly dry out your skin, so be careful!

I only use toothpaste as a last resort, when I really need that nasty red spot on my nose gone by tomorrow.

A couple times a week I use a spot cream from Neutrogena, which has benzoyl peroxide in it. Otherwise I just wash my face once a day (in the morning) with that cheapo-orange bar of facial soap from Neutrogena. It helps control oil, and pulls blackheads to the surface, so they can be easily removed.

Really, just eat healthily (lots of fruits and veggies. Raw is best. Get your vitamins!), drink water or healthy tea (coffee and sodas are not good for you.), and excercise. Get some sunshine, but be sure to use an oil-free, moisterising sunblock when you do!

I really bad acne, and I tired pretty much every single pill, cream and store stuff.
My doctor prescribed me Accutane, and it completely got rid of my acne and the scars it left behind. The only down side is you have to take a blood test every month and pregnancy test, since it can cause high blood pressure and etc.

Doctor's Dermatologic Formula (DDF) skincare products are excellent for serious acne: their products are strong like prescription medications, but they can get pretty expensive though.

Every person is different and the cause of their acne may also be different. So this means that for you to get rid of your acne you would need to try many different creams and techniques, unless you knew exactly what was causing your acne. Then you could buy exactly the product or service that could eliminate your skin problem.

When I was a teenager they called me "The Clearasil Kid." I heard that stuff they sell on TV is not very good. I went to a dermatologist years ago but he wanted to put me on heavy duty meds like antibiotics which I read is the worst thing you can possibly put in your system, so I didn't go that route. What seems to work for me is just plain washing with soap as often as you can. Zits are nothing more than skin oil and bacteria mixing together so I theorized that just by keeping my face as clean as possible it should work, and it did, probably better than all of those fancy and expensive acne remdies put together.
Everybody's different, though!!

About 10 of my friends and I have all agreed that Clearasil doesnt work.
I dont know, if its true or not..but we all found it has actully made acne worse. =/

The best stuff I use is Neutrogena Advanced Solutions.
It takes 3 days at the most to work. For me, it works like the next day.
I had so much acne but now my skin is like completley clear.
You really should try it..

Now that I am older my acne is memorial only, except when I forget for days on end to dip my face in cold iron-rich artesian well-water as a disciplined daily regimen. Here (and Now) where I am here and now situated is a landscape blessed with inordinately, incomprehensively large quantities of healing iron-rich artesian water rising from the blessed Aquifer 220 feet beneath my hillock's apex. Oh, Gaia hath blest us here with her bounteous ferric elixir. Wash in the iron waters. Drink the iron waters. Facial healing begins. Drink in the iron, and make it the steel that shields thy dermal armour!

There are also some skincare products from Origins that are worth checking out. Expensive, but they worked for me!

best toner ever: tea tree oil, water, apple cider vinegar (smelly but effective, so use it at night! helps skin return to a balanced ph)

best exfoliant ever: baking soda and water (restores natural ph balance and helps get rid of scarring)

I havent had a zit (that didnt disappear overnight) since i started this over a year ago!

best of luck!

I have actually been on Accutane three times. It works but then in about a year, year and half it comes back. So I'm done with that because of the drying out it did on my lips and I got nose bleeds from it.

However, quartizone shots work well if you can get them.
