I am on this website looking for auditions because I really really want to try acting. A lot of friends and family tell me I am good so I decided to just give it a shot. Now when I see the casting calls they say bring your resume or email your resume. I don't have one because I haven't done anything so what do I do in that situation? Any help or input would be very much appreciated lol

Everyone started off with a blank resume.

List your name, cell phone, email, training, and any special skills/abilities.

As a beginner, there are things you can do to fill up that resume.

First, take some acting classes. Not only will that help you perfect your craft and become a better actor, but you can put the classes on your resume under "Training."

Then, start auditioning for non-paying acting gigs that don't require extensive resumes. Student films are one good place to start; another is community theatre. These are projects that will give you experience as an actor and credits on your resume.

Since you don't have credits as yet, make sure you have a GREAT headshot. That's what will get your foot in the door.
