It depends on the producers. CDs are nothing more than an HR dept. Star roles are going to offer-only people and usually aren't auditioned at all. For smaller roles, CDs see X amount of people and show y amount of those to producers. If the producers don't like any of those people they could request that more be seen. But to answer your question, no, there are no requirements per se. Something like that would have to be collectively bargained with the producers. |
