Has anyone shot headshots with Fresh Look Photography? I've been looking at their Facebook and their work looks pretty good for the price. I was wondering if anyone had any feedback on the photographer or how their shoot went?

I saw that girls headshots and I thought about doing a cheap session but they are a lot out of focus and everyone is posed the same way and they are all leaning to the right side of the photo and one person can have one good photo but it seems like the 5 other shots of the same person are all different skin colors and not so good. I have light skin so I wouldn't want to look yellow or bright pink. It's up to you and it's cheap but I would rather save money and time and go for one of the other better photographers than those. I also think that their hair and makeup is very messy or too much making the girls ones look cheap, the girls, but maybe you can have your own done by someone you trust. I checked her prices and the three times i looked it said a different price for the next day which seemed like a red flag to me.
I like the price though but from reading the boards for a long time it doesn't really make sense to do cheap headshots. That's just my opinion. Maybe someone can post photos on here that they had from there though that got them some auditions.

I agree about the cheap headshots. I'd rather just not waste the money and spend it on ones that I know will turn out good. Now that I'm reading what you said I'm noticing all of that in the photos. Have you seen Deidhra Faheys work or thought about shooting with her? What are other photographers you've thought about?

Yah, My friend and I were laughing how all her photos are leaning to the right. I am waiting until next year after I lose another few pounds Smiler I am thinking about either Laura Burke or Joanna Brooks or David Noles. I have pretty good ones right now and a new agent that doesn't seem to mind them even though I really want new ones I am not in a huge rush and want to make sure I am prepared.

Yeah you'll see time and again advice on this forum against getting the cheapo wham-bam headshot packages, and that it's worth the time and money to set up a session with someone who produces consistent quality results.

Also someone who posts package rates on Facebook, but has no actual professional website seems like a red flag to me.

They don't even have a headshot gallery on their facebook page. I don't know why you would risk shooting headshots with someone who has no work to show in that arena.
