Five years of acting, umpteen student films and a pretty penny paid to the very nice film editor.

My demo reel. Have at it. . .

It's a good length.

There's a lot of variation in sound quality and it's really noticeable - not sure if this is something your editor can fix...

Personally, I'm not a fan of the montage thing at the end and the music is really cheesy and kind of takes away from the work that precedes it.

Well, I have a shorter version minus the montage - but I thought there was no harm in putting those things at the end.

Not sure what can be done about the sound quality, though -- wonder if that's a computer user - specific issue, though -- no one else has mentioned it.

Anyone else have that issue? Or anything to say?

Hi Search,
I like it!
I think you are a terrific actress and it's a really interesting reel. I get you from these scenes and they show you off well and it's really specific.
Good job.

Well, thank you, Joanna!

Btw, just want to let you know that I've put serious thought into having you do my headshots -- need some commercial ones, especially. Like your portfolio and you seem a relaxed and relaxing photographer. And I respect your presence and contributions on this board.

Oh, wouldn't be looking to do this for a few months. Don't worry -- I understand the concept of advance schedulingSmiler

Oh,also,

What casting age range do folks see on this? The oldest clip on this reel is from 2.5 years ago, btw. The first two clips are the most recent, dating to the Spring.

You know what kills me? In almost every clip I"m the same weight -- 115. And I'm 5'2. Everyone who sees me in person considers me petite -- but on screen -- jeepers I look plump. (Btw, for the cougar cleavage scene I'm wearing a fancy dancy pushup padded bra -- that's neither nature nor silicone you're seeingSmiler)

There is definitely something odd about the sound. It seems to me that you have "L cut" transitions from scene to scene. Which is jarring for a demo reel. I think all you need is a straight cut to each scene.

To the people commenting about sound:

You cannot expect for a moment that sound quality will be identical, or even close, for every clip. The fact that they are different shows that the actor has been involved with different productions. As long as it sounds and looks professionally made; bank.
