Inexperienced children usually do not have anything to officially put on a resume, so a description of the child’s personality is all you need to include in a brief cover letter when submitting to agents or managers. Once the child starts to gain experience by performing in a school or community theatre play, singing at an event, taking a performing arts or sports type class, or booking an actual job, is when you start to list those credits on a beginning resume.
