I received an alarming notification from Backstage today, which read in part:
"When Backstage transitions to its all-new and improved casting system later this month, only one of your resumes will be transferred over to the new platform."

The current casting system allows multiple resumes (film, stage, ads, etc.), which makes sense to me, a working actor in multiple media. So why is Backstage creating an 'improved casting system' that actually reduces functionality and usefulness?

Please join me in asking Backstage to rethink this provincial and restrictive approach in their new casting system, and requesting the continuance of multiple resumes - it's the way the business works today.
