I've honestly never seen an agency contract, So I don't know if that's normal at all, but it seemed really peculiar. Why would they need that? It it just like all the paper work you fill out for a new job sorta thing?

Asking for a SSN is fairly common as they'll need to give that info to production if you're cast.

But asking for upfront money is a big red flag.
