Anyone have any advice on legit theatrical agencies in New Orleans? I may be moving there for awhile. Also what months are the busiest? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

NOLA is tough. With all the filming that goes on down there you'd think there'd be tons of legit agencies. However, I'm not aware of one SAG agency in the city or state.

I'd be interested in any readers who can make recommendations as well.

Currently in Call Sheet we list a few modeling agencies and Acclaim Talent, a branch of a Texas talent agency. Maybe give them a look?

I know of Fame Agency in NOLA.

Landrum Arts has the most working clients in New Orleans. They are very picky so make sure you have all your ducks in a row...meaning head shots, resume, references ect.....good luck! Use to be you could submit online but I think their website is under construction...

Del Corral and Associates is a great agency in NOLA

Landrum is the best I know of. I do know that a lot of Texas actors (with Texas based agents) work in all of Louisiana. Maybe look into them?

Dawn Landrum at Landrum arts
Brenda netZberger at open range
Claudia speicher at New Orleans model and talent

Things may or may not have changed. I'm with open range and have had luck so far.
