Alvi - I follow one of the casting directors for this project who does the background, extras, and u5 roles and she had posted recently looking for specific people needed for it.

I know they've (Caged Heat) have done a lot of extra shout outs over the past few weeks. And I know a LONG time ago (months), an acting friend of mine's sibling got an audition for an actual U5 role. But all I have seen is extra stuff.

On an unusual note for NC. I did get a video request for audition for an LA pilot last night. Extremely rare in these parts. As one said already, it's usually extra or bit parts around here and anything else is brought in from LA/NY. It's getting very old, I can tell you that! lol

Well I know when RDJr got injured, filming was postponed completely. Then all of a sudden, it was like a few castings for extras, then nothing again, and now some castings again... lol. Im just seeing it back and forth.

Thank you Sammie! Yes, I know I noticed that it all stopped too, but came back. I don't pay too much attention to the extra roles, as my agent doesn't think I should do them anymore, but for caged, they seems to be all out of my range anyway. So, I stopped paying attention. :-)

Yea I dont submit for extra roles either but I still follow her casting pages since other castings tend to fall thru some times

No unfortunately, I am not available on Tuesday. I have missed so many of them this summer. I miss going and seeing all my friends. But, I am doing something really exciting this coming Tuesday, so I am ok with it this month.

I am going to see the Musical: Chicago, and meet a new friend of mine that is playing in it! Thanks to another new friend of mine I meet over the summer. ;-) (If he's reading this, he knows who he is! lol)I cannot wait to see the play and meet him in person!

Hopefully next month I will be able to come. :-)

And I didnt stay at the last one. I only rushed in to grab something from Julie then had to leave. I am hoping I can make the next one, I'm thinking they are having a speaker come in this time (or maybe it was the meeting I missed?) I dont remember lol. Thing is, I can never keep up as to if it is going to be at Dilworth or at the NCMF

Oh! Chicago was wonderful! And it was so much fun to meet and go out with everyone after the show! Such nice people they all were. Amazing.

Yes, I know, like I said, I haven't been to many over the summer and the last couple of ones, I had something else to do. I miss going, and am never sure which location they will be in either! LOL When is the next one? the 6th? If so, I am busy, again! LOL Good to be busy though!!

I dont know if you received the email blast but the next one is actually the 13th since the 6th is voting day.

Yes, I got the notice! Thanks so much! I might actually be able to go to this one. I am glad it's not tomorrow, or I wouldn't be able to. I have a casting to help with and then I am going to support a fellow scoliosis friend and say happy bornday to her as she spends her B-day in the hospital after back surgery.

ABSOLUTELY! JTA is the tops! They want you, then go for it! They don't just pick anyone! You are in good hands. CONGRATS!

I agree with Brandi. If JTA is offering you a contract, sign with them. ARA is ranked below them but still very good and East Coast Talent is good but JTA would be the best choice in those agencies.
