So Huggies had oen for this pass Monday but we missed it because I had no ride and I don't drive (her Dad didn't want to go...sooo not supportive)! But I called and they said I can come back Thursday because they are having another one at the same time 10:00-11:00. Should I go? Is it worth the money? This is her first go-see so maybe thats why I really want to make this one.

I would go! You never know if more bookings, or even direct booking will come out of the shoot if she makes it! My son booked with Huggies through Nina Lubarda Kids Future Faces NYC and we have been booking with Huggies ever since.

I can't believe how many days they are seeing kids! They must be seeing thousands. Obviously I hope we get it but it seems like I should be preparing for a call back and nothing more!

I hate callbacks because then you have to go twice and then you may still not get it. That happened once to us and it was so disappointing.

Has anyone booked with huggies recently? Do the book multiple babies or just one? Why do they separate the babies from the moms? Did they do that? I have to go tomorro and I'm curious how ths casting is going to go? O they video or just take photo?

We go tomorrow as well...but i did hear that they take the babies in another room and take pics of them. They do book multiple babies(not sure how many)..& They are going to have call backs and then fittings as well. i think this is going to be the biggest casting we have been to...what baby isnt going!? lol GLTA

How many months are the babies that they are casting ??thx

I think they are casting 1-28 months? Not sure about the oldest age though. I was there today with 3mo old DS and there were all little babies...my 21mo old was asked to go last week but he won't separate from me so said no. I do know that callbacks are the 1st week of June. GLTA!

I think they separate the babies from parents so they can have more of an idea how they will act when someone else is handling them for a shoot.

Yes the woman said they want to see how chil fr will follow direction/cooperate without parent right next to them. Friday with my ds (30 months) a little girl was breaking down so the lady told her today just wasn't her day. I think they are looking up to 31 months. If you book they will take baby in other room for the photo shoot as well. You will not be allowed in the room....

You are always allowed on set with your child. They will not be right next to you. But you will be able to see them at all times.

We have shot with Huggies. They choose about 20 babies to shoot at a time. Out of those 20 babies only 1 gets selected for the ad. So out of hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of babies the chances of your child getting selected for the ad or package is VERY VERY SLIM. They take your child away the the ENTIRE time that child is shooting. In our situation my child was taken away from me and shot on an entirely different floor!!!! You can not even see what what the set looks like or what they are doing with your child!!!! You will then be reunited with your child in between takes when they switch to a different baby. You have no idea how you child is doing during the shoot. You also have to sign a 4-5 page release that is extremely detailed. More then any other shoot I have been on! Basically releasing them of EVERYTHING and doing whatever ad or package they choose to do with your child! Honestly, I WOULD NOT recommend going to a Huggies casting if you live more then 2 hours from the casting. I would save the money for a hotel room and travel expenses for a commercial audition or a better request go see. Huggies auditions are like finding a needle on a hay sack. It's just not worth it for the stress on you or your child!

I am glad our agency doesn't send us to these castings. They WILL NOT submit for castings where mother and baby are separated. And I am fine with that. I have been to a few huggies castings with my former agency and yes, they were cattle calls where babies were crawling around everywhere in their diapers. I waited until the extreme LAST minute to take off my dd's clothing and socks as I was NOT a fan of the dirty floor. She did learn "ring around the rosie" however, so not a total loss. hehe. good luck to those who went, and hey, you never know if you will book. gotta be in it to book it!!!
