Can you let me know what maintenance fees (website, comp cards, other) does FORD and Wilhelmina charge, even if its optional to have the child on the website? Also, do they require professional photos and/or comp cards, or snapshots ok for toddlers? Thanks in advance.

Wilhelmina doesn't charge fees for anything and there is no website that you can put your child on to. No comp cards needed until your child is 3. You just send in updated snapshots every 2 mths. GL!

ggbaby- there is a website! Both of my kids are on it! They charge $125 per year for each child , updates on the websites are free.
You child must be under 3 yo, no child under 3 is on the site, I think the same goes for ford.

ggbaby- babies to 3yo are NOT on the website, once your baby turn 3yo the agency will send you a letter about putting your child on the site which is optional but recommended . It's not like you are not being submitted if you are not on te site , I think it's because babies change so often, might be some other reason too. I think when your baby turn 3 and you decide to put him/her up there you might be able to give W all the jobs that were done before he/she turned 3, plus new headshots. My child started at 2 and when she turned 3 that's exactly what happened.
You can call the W and ask them about it if you have anymore questions.

Ford charges $15/month with no additional charges for updates. The agents will make a set of comp cards for you from digital images you provide them whether prof pics or tears for $92.

Interesting I am new to this business but I have read that the legitimate agencies don't charge any fees???
Why are they charging a web site fee???
Is that something new???
I was asked by agency to represent my son but I am hesitating because of the web site mantainance fee?

The legitimate agencies do not force you to sign up for the website so you have a choice. If they are legit they will still send you out either way. Some have higher fees than others for maintenance. Do a search on the board here and you will find many discussions regarding this issue.

Yes it is somewhat new since a few years ago there weren't any websites with photos. If you know if the agency is legit or ask here with the name I'm sure someone will tell you if whether it's worth it or not.
