HI, Went to a go-see yesterday with my 9 yr old DD. DD was only asked to try on one outfit while most of the other kids before her tried on two or three outfits. DD was pretty dissapointed (especially because it was Halloween costumes with wigs) and wanted to know what I thought it meant that they only asked her to try on one thing. I said it was probably because it was already after 5 and the go-see was from 1-5 so maybe they had to wind down. Do you all think it was probably a "No" though?
It's hard to say. My DD has never booked a job where she did not try on any clothes, but has booked every job where she tried on something. Even just one outfit. So don't give up hope yet! Good luck and I hope your child books.
You never know...try not to read into it too much. At a recent casting my son tried on clothes and my daughter did not, but she booked it and not him.
Given what you are saying about it being after 5 I don't think I'd read anything into her trying on only one outfit. We've seen that several times where kids who arrive at the early part of a go-see do more try-ons than those who arrive at the end, and it doesn't seem to be related to end bookings. Good luck!
NEVER assume anything based on your experience during an audition/call back. We were at a callback where my DD tried on an outfit and they didn't take her picture at all because it didn't fit and she booked the job!
