have you had one word in a script, just one, that no matter how simple or complex to say it becomes a stumbling point, messing with your flow and energy during a key scene? I did yesterday and never had that happen before. How do you get around it or ignore it on the inside? It became almost an obsticle bigger than it should have. I got through ok but the fact I never had this issue prior and was unsure how to deal with it on the fly did not make me happy. First, shame on you for taking a role that's just one word. But in a seriousness, LISTEN! How you're going to say it should be determined by the energy and what the other actors in the scene are saying. | |||

lol! actually I was conspiring with a group of extras so it was just me with the dialog, the other principle was eaves dropping and no dialog from her....so the energy was my own, it came off fine in the end, but I like to be able to pull 'well practiced' technique out of my pocket when needed.
