SAM,

How do you advise actors to disagree and push back against an agent or a manager when you think they're making a bad decision (or a less good one)?

For instance, say you're choosing headshots. You've gotten great feedback from a variety of sources (acting coaches, CD's down to assistants, working actors, less working actors, etc) on certain shots, but your rep is convinced of another shot.

Or, say that they're pushing you as one type, but you believe you're a different type.

Or, one more here, they think you should go to one acting coach as opposed to one (of equal standing) that you feel better about.

Is there a way to properly push your opinion? What's the line, what's the proper give 'n' take?
