Are they as good as Abrams or better of worse?

Should I still go with them if they want me commercially only?

Innovative is definitely up there with Abrams, CESD, KSR, Commercial Talent, and Coast to Coast. I would go with them if for some dumb reason the aforementioned don't notice you.

Yo...calm down. You mentioned in another thread that you're desperate to figure out what to do.

The first and best thing you can do is drop the desperateness in your search. It takes time to get anywhere in ANY field. You went to college so you should know this. This isn't something that is going to happen overnight. Megatron in your other post gave plenty of spot on information.

Quit asking questions and just start by searching the board for the questions you have. They are answered EVERYWHERE on here.

Hello Asian Newbie. I don't think I can offer any direct help. What I can say is that your thirst & passion & desire is very strong which is a positive! What I suggest is dig deep & guide that energy to actual positive actions towards your goal. When I first moved to LA I was a newbie. I knew I wanted to be an actor & that I had to be SAG. I somehow figured out (if you want something bad enough, you'll figure out a way to make it happen) that I could get a Taft Hartley & be "invited" into SAG. I also figured out, it would be much easier to get a Taft Hartley through a commercial as commercials tend to hire newbies a lot more than a TV show or major motion picture. So.... I needed a commercial agent! Commercial agents take on non-union & union alike. And if you are good & have something to offer (I believed I was & did), you will get your SAG card, & then book commercials & then eventually foray into TV/ film, etc. I could have done a targeted mailing OR even more effective find a commercial workshop where I can learn about what I want to do AND MOST IMPORTANTLY the coach brings in REPUTABLE agents to see my work. And the rest is history or MY-story .

I suggest you find a good commercial workshop (not sure where these days - search the forums that brings in REPUTABLE agents to see you at the end. Then book some commercials!! . That is if you have a good commercial look. But that's a whole other topic and THREAD.

BTW you did hijack my thread. If you have questions be sure to search the forums or start your own thread or even send a personal message to someone you may look up to instead of diverting someone else's thread. Otherwise, you just come off as self centered, needy & inconsiderate... or as I like to call it an ACTOR!!!! :P.

Well here we are 6 months later & I barely go out. When I do, it's mostly for a type that I don't fit. None of those big agencies called Actually Coast to Coast did, but I didn't gel with them. Should I just resubmit to the same top commercial agencies again?

Did you sign with a smaller agency? Also, what happened with Coast? Did Hugh ask you if you speak Asian lol? I have a similar story so I'm just curious.

I like your reel but the first ten seconds I as going where is the meat. I looked down when Commercials showed and it was ten seconds. That was my ten seconds, I stuck and watch but I feel people need to cut it faster.

It is like an action movie. The first five seconds has to be action or entertaining. KABOOM action! Not giving the viewer a time to sit go...Yea i see the name and yea commercials. Where is the MEAT of the stuff?

Hey Truthteller, none of the big agencies have called yet.

How is House of Reps?
Any better than HRI?

House of Reps is great theatrically. Their commercial division isn't as strong.
