One way of looking at it, Truth, but in my experience, "Rich and White" does not equate with "creative, professional, well spoken and hard working". I've know plenty of lazy, ignorant rich white kids, and smart, energetic, articulate kids from other races with less affluent backgrounds. I guess what I want to say is, it's not simply "rich and white" that is producing the quality coming out of Chapman. Rich does give access to high quality equipment, and the time to use it though. But beyond that, they must be doing something right at Chapman, too, because the professionalism seems pretty consistent. BTW, one of the directors he worked with there was Chinese.
Also, most of the Chapman students are local in the OC area. OC does have some of the best public high schools in California as well.
