Hmm, interesting. Doesn't January bleed into the pilot season when supposedly everyone is too busy to take in new clients? I recently sent out a handful of submissions hoping to get in before the new year, but I guess I may have missed the boat... |

First...pilot season has very little effect on the commercial world. Unless your submitting to agents who work both commercial and theatrical...in that case you're probably wasting your time. The best agents handle one or the other. There is only one that I know of that handles both that has any clout and that is at AEF - Gloria. Actually pilot season is a great time to submit commercially because most people think exactly what you thought. Are you still in New Orleans? If so...Just spend your extra time now researching like mad. Don't waste your time mailing til you get here. |
