So 3 weeks ago, I get sent out on 3 different co-star auditions, one of being which I could not attend because I was out of town (which my agency knew). Now it has been 2 weeks since I've been out at all. I emailed my agent about possibly getting new headshots. Haven't heard back in a few days..Is it possible they are upset with me? I know I sound insecure but com'on...

James, brother, you've gotta ask them, not us.

James, not sure how long you been in LA, but contrary to what you hear on these boards, the average actor even if represented, does not have network level auditions all the time. Even with a great resume. Its Streaky. 6 in a month, nothing for 2 months

Your type has to actually appear in the breakdowns, and then there probably has to be some kind of relationship berween either you and the CD, or your agent and the CD for you to be one of the 20 people who are privledged to audition.

If youve emailed them after only 2 weeks of not going on an audition, they're probably gonna think you're a lil nuts or about to become a pain in the ass

If between Early july and mid december you have say maybe 15-20 TV/Film auditions, consider yourself fortunate. Theres a lot of folks who can't but their way into a room

Thanks. You are completely right. And 3 in a week is not bad at all. I should feel fortunate that I'm even going out. Guess I'm just tired of sitting around watching Netflix all day. Haha. Thanks again.

Get a job or volunteer at a charity. It'll make you a better actor.

Yeah, having two weeks between auditions is more the norm. But sitting home and doing nothing is the worst way to go about it. If not working a job then creating your own material is a great way to use free time.

If I would have written this post, my topic would have read:

"Dry for 2 months"
