Hello All, I recently heard back from Cathy Parker Management and was wondering if anyone had any experience / information about them. They also told me that they sign their clients for 3 years with an automatic extension for 3 more, which seemed unusual (but maybe it's different for kids with whom they usually work?) Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

Just to clarify - I'm located in New York, and the management company is based in NJ.

There's no such thing as an automatic extension. You have the right to bail if you're not happy. What I'm assuming they mean is that if you don't notify them you want to leave before the three year period is over, then the contract will rollover into a brand new three year period. As for the initial three years, that seems long but it's nothing new. All I can say is you better be damn sure you're signing with the right person because three years is a very long time...

Mattrix, I am currently freelancing with a few agencies as well as Avanti Talent Management and I just received an offer to meet with Cathy Parker Talent Management. Cathy Parker is only interested in signing exclusively, which means I lose all these other people getting me auditions. Did you sign with Cathy Parker management? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
