You haven't even stated where they worked previously? I'm just stating facts. Their clients are on imdb. You can see all that their clients are doing.
That's why one left to start their own agency and the other two agents asked to come on board!
What I am asking is where were they previously? Did they come from one of the agencies on this list? That probably would also help to place them. It would actually SHOW that they have a reputation. You saying they have one doesn't mean they have one or not.
You made a statement that none of their clients came with them..If you don't know where they were before than how can you make a statement that none of their clients came with them? I'm just a struggling actor, but all I've heard are great things. Just because they aren't Gersh or CAA doesn't mean they don't have great potential and are working hard for their clients. I'm not ready for that level anyway!
-_- So you know nothing about them? and I said "If they did work at a previous talent agency why didn't their talent come with them? And if their talent did come with them. Why isn't their talent more established?" lol I'm done with this.
I'm done too!!! My manager told me the story and I do know they took all the clients they wanted that asked to come. All I'm saying is someone on this board asked a question about them, you answered with no real knowledge except looking at a few of the names on their IMDB page. Guess it doesnt really matter as they won't take actors unless they are referred. I'm a conflict so I guess I have to keep looking..Nice going back and forth with you. Good Luck!
Why is Momentum on this list?
Howard talent is the worst ever!! i would go with clear. Bonnie is a nutcase but lynn is nice. Bonnie will get upset if you get a manager and hit u with "well its your career but im your agent". Everyone i know who got with her left her.
Actually all those agents all came from RPM.
Then they were brilliant for leaving!
Other than looking up client lists on imdb pro and getting a feel for the agent in a meeting, what kind of information would be important to figure this out and how can you find it?
Talk to casting directors, managers, industry people!
Anyone know any more info about RPM? I keep seeing information about them here and there but nothing set and stone like its a scam or your better off not having an agent at all.
Truth, or S.A.M, if you aren't getting signed by the above list of agencies that S.A.M posted, does it make sense to go with agents like RPM or other lower tiered start ups over not having an agent at all? Wouldn't even a bottom tier agent be able to get you those network auditions you could not get yourself? Assuming that the actor is SAG-E with a handful of short film/webseries credits and some solid acting training (UCB/Margie H). It's been explained to me that without an agent you have access to about 30% of active breakdowns. The other 70% of, lets say, "higher level" or "network" auditions go directly from CD's to agents. Just not sure what the best route to go is. Thoughts?
Just don't sign with loser agencies like Michael Zanuck, Jerry Pace, and whatever agency has a bad reputation.
if i'm not mistaken, peter strain agency is no more
