On Saturday, May 24, come out and support your fellow creative artists at Barnes & Noble at the Grove as we host a Bookfair on behalf of the Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights. When you make any purchase at our store all day, just let the cashiers know that you're shopping on behalf of ALAP, and up to 20% of the total price of your purcahse will be donated to the Alliance! You can buy books, music, magazines, DVDs...even a cup of coffee from our cafe can support ALAP!

The Alliance will also be hosting its regular "In Our Own Voices" reading series at Barnes & Noble at the Grove on May 24. This performance, in which locally based playwrights join forces with actors to bring excerpts from their current works to life, will take place in our event space on the 3rd floor at 2 p.m.
