Well i am finally getting ready to start my acting career at a Teen actor and to continue as an adult actor. Well i am in NYC and the permit says i need to maintain satisfactory does that mean i have to pass all my classes. Which i did but just failed one class i have a 80% average just failing one class and passing 8 others. So i wont be able to gain the permit until i get that class up.

I have a question: how long does it usually take to get the work permit after you send the paperwork in? I mailed my dd's in last Friday, so I was just wondering how long the turn-around time will be before she gets the permit. Thanks!

In my experience, I've always gotten the permit back within a week.

Zone, You have to give the paperwork (the Academic Verification page) to your school and they have to sign off on it. There are no rules as to exactly what grades you have to have. Even if you were getting "Ds", tney can still sign off on it. The Dept of Labor doesn't really care if you're getting straight As or Cs and Ds... they're more concerned that you're attending school and maintaining attendance.
Give the form to your teacher or guidance counselor and ask them to sign it.
CESD and all the other agencies and management companies' addresses can be found in the Ross Reports. You can get that at the Drama Book Shop, Borders, etc.
