I'm so excited! About a year ago, I auditioned a an open call for a film company. It went well, but nothing came of it. They had another call closer to my home, so I went to that one, too, and they recognized me. This one was even better, because after I did my scene, they gave me some great direction and my performance was much improved. That was several months ago.

Then, about a week and a half ago, I was contacted by them about doing a three minute comedy piece over Labor Day weekend. The director said it all depended on people's schedules, but he sent me the script and asked me to look at a part- and today, it was confirmed that we film on Saturday! I won't get paid, but I am so excited because, besides extra roles and making amatuer films with my friends, I've never done any film work, and I'm eager to get some.

I'm pretty surprised they chose me- at both auditions, I performed dramatic scenes and I think I'm a bit too young for the role. But hey, if they want me... I am excited!
