I am an actor and have a friend with a baby who wants to get him involved in print modeling. She asked me if I knew how magazines such as American Baby or Parents, or products such as Pampers get thier baby models. I have no idea!
Is there a go-to infant/baby agency? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

American Baby and Parents do most of the shooting in NY. But many other magazines, ads etc are shot in LA. In the LA market, baby's are repped by baby managers. Kathy McCall is well known and just started her agency. You might also tell her to check out Jet Set Babies, another reputable agency that reps babies. Here's the link:

what about on the east coast ?

All the top print agencies repping kids (including babies) have been discussed on this board. Do a search and you will find all the names, and in some cases, contact info. Note that NYC print agencies will be hesitant to rep you if you do not live in close proximity to the city. There is agency in Philly that a number of board members have used.
