Very pretty, but I thought Head Shots s/b B/W and is that to much of a close up.

NOT trying t/b critical, but it's hard to focus on the total picture when all I see is a big face.

I think this photo is fine for a headshot. A few things I noticed were sharpness. Is this a scan from a print or a digital negative? The focus is soft. Depth of field is not bad. I would whiten her teeth by desaturating them.
Almost all headshots are color these days. I see mainly color and some b/w in our casting office. Also when you post on the internet it is a good idea to limit the size to 800pix on the longest side.

Headshots are color these days.

Your DD is a beauty. I don't love the shot though... the smile looks a bit forced and there is something blue in her hand that I find distracting.

I think the shot is beautiful and I don't agree that it's too much of a close up. What they want to see is face and not be distracted by other things. Also most headshots these days are color. She is a very pretty girl, Good Luck!

She is a beauty, she looks to old (meaning 15)in this headshot! at her age she will be competing with 18 year old who look younger! Try to make herlook younger, no earings, no make-up. do not whiten the teeth, cd's want to see a headshot that looks like the actor. I have not seen a b/W photo in a year!!!
You could actually remove the arms and just focus on her face!
