I have one in mind at the moment, but I feel limited with just one to choose from, so any help is greatly appreciated. The one I was recommended to was Paul Sirochman Photography. Please list any photographers that are around the Philadelphia region and are good or any ones to stay away from. Thanks for the help! Tom
p.s. I put this in teen actors, because I am 17 and feel some photographers seem to work with teens better than others.

Um please help out, I'm aware that most of you are from the West Coast (or at least it seems that way), but there must be a list or something for reputable photographers in different regions of America, right?

Well my parents could take me to New York if it is 100% necessary, but I was looking for something more local if possible. I guess nothing worth something in life comes easy lol, yes please list them if you could. If there is one in particular that stands out, then let me know. Tom Thank you

Hi Tom - I can recommend 2 - both are in NY - Nathan Yungerberg (www.njyphoto.com) and Paula Lizarraga (www.paulalizarraga.com). Both are great to work with.

Although I havent used him, Paul Sirochman is the name that people keep telling me. I live in south jersey. Heard he is the best and I plan on using him in the future.

We used Paul Sirochman and loved him. Prices we thought were very good as well and you can send off to get copies of headshots at great prices. Good luck!

Paul Sirochman was the first photographer I ever used for headshots for my daughter and I WOULD NOT reccomend him to anyone.....I was NOT pleased with my daughters headshots...I would say the drive to NYC is worth a good head shot after all that's one of the tools you use to get auditions!

Okay so first enneirda & CHMom3 said good things about Paul Sirochman, but now I'm not so sure with Dramas advice. This whole process is confusing, but I guess you can only get a good idea of how a photographer is after using him/her. Thanks for the comments and I enjoy reading each one!

We used Paul Sirochman and felt he was fine but like you, really didn't have anyone to compare him to. He is very easy and nice to work with, seemed to make my 14 year old son comfortable right away and was very nice to a flustered, harried mom trying to juggle too many things at once and who had traveled an hour to get there! We got several great shots and are pleased.

Why don't you just try Paul for yourself and see if you like him, that's all that matters anyway
Haha thanks Drama and yea thats what I've decided to do. I am calling their studios tonight and am gonna try to work out an available time for the both of us. I will make sure to give a recap of how it all turns out and how I felt about his work so that others will have an even better idea before going to him. Later and thanks again, Tom
