For all you kids with singers out there, Disney is going to be holding Equity auditions for all 4 B'way shows that have kids this summer. I believe the date is June 14th in Manhattan. The CD's will be Binder, Telsey, & Jen Rudin.

Does anyone have information on height limits? I think Jane in Mary Poppins is 4'10". I am really asking about HSM tour; they say they are auditioning kids for this, but don't they usually cast 18+ to play high schoolers?

Maybe Jason Robert Brown's 13 is having an effect on some decision making? Good Luck!

Is is safe to assume they have to be strong singers? Or will they be in a group? My dd is not a strong singer alone but in a group she does well. Just curious.

We went to this open call last year, and all I can say is GET THERE EARLY! Hundreds of kids showed up, and they saw 70 I think. It might not have even been that many. I seem to remember that the sign-in time was 3, but people got there in the early a.m. We left headshots and resumes, and surprisingly, got a call a few weeks later and went on an audition!

Is it only for Equity? It is my understanding that Equity goes first and if time permits, non-equity is seen. Any chance non-equity will be seen for the 4 Disney shows? What is the height requirements for Michael Banks if Jane is 4'10"? The shows are Mary Poppins, Lion King, Little Mermaid, what is the 4th? What are the restrictions for Flounder?

You are right about the way equity auditions are run and the fourth show is The High School Musical tour. Not sure about the ht req's for each show but I'm sure they'll be listed somewhere as the date nears.

Anyone know about the High School Musical tour? Currently it has all adults in it. Are they going to use kids now?

Disney Equity auditions were just posted on NYCastings for 6/14.

I saw the casting notice for this, and I saw that they're having a call for kids and one for adults. Do you think they would see teenagers, though? I'm 16, I can look younger and older, and I'm 5'3." Do you think I should go?

Do you know any further information about the auditions is Chicago?...location, time?

Being very green at all of this can anyone go on the 2nd......also I noticed children are listed on the 8th can they go on the 2nd?
