This is regarding our seven month old daughter.

For the last several months we've been told, "Get her an agent! Get her an agent! Register her with a Casting Agency! She's got IT!" by various friends who are in the biz.

After following up on a referral by one of our friends, I contacted Integrity Casting in Reno, NV and mentioned that we were interested in registering our daughter with their agency.

She explained that they are a Casting Agency....not a talent agency and that those needing actors or models or talent for commercials come to them with a request and the agency looks through their registration list for a person or two who might fit what the client is looking for. The agency asks for $30 a year to register as well as a new pic (casual snapshot or otherwise) every six months for someone as young as my daughter is as well as her particulars. They do not take a commission.

Does this sound legit?

sounds like a background casting agency.

My son was with one for over a year and he did do lots shows and films, but if you are looking for featured parts, you'll probably want an agent.

I don't have the capability to edit my previous post, but I wanted to say that we've decided to also submit her for consideration with a few agencies in Las Vegas and San Francisco and take it from there.
