Preparation

Be prepared to dance first.

Please prepare a traditional musical theater song that is appropriate for your age and shows off your voice & personality. Bring sheet music. Pianist provided.

Bring a picture and resume, stapled together.

Other

Children must be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian. Parents or guardians must be at the audition site at all times- prepare to wait.

Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to attend.

Always bring your Equity Membership Card to auditions.

My DS is very close to 58". Should we bother going in just to be seen and the experience? or no.

do you have the breakdown for this? I will be flying in from Houston if we go....to go or not to go that is my question. My daughter LOVES Gypsy!

SEEKING:
Girls: for the roles of Baby June & Baby Louise.
BABY JUNE (no taller than 53”) - Small & adorable. She is the ultimate child performer. Must have a strong belt to an “E.” Must be able to dance well & do a split. Pointe work necessary, please bring pointe shoes and ballet slippers. Baton twirling a plus, please bring batons if you have them.

BABY LOUISE (no taller than 58”) - Gawky, shy and sensitive. Should sing.

Boys: to play the Newsboys.
NEWSBOYS (no taller than 58”)- Part of Baby June’s Vaudeville act. Should sing & dance well and have an aptitude for basic tap. Playing an instrument (not piano, drums or guitar) is a plus. If you play and instrument, please bring it. Unchanged voices. Must be able to belt & should sing to an “E” in your head voice.
