My DDs eye color is not "one" true color, they are absolutely beautiful, have several colors and can change very easily depending on light, setting, color of clothing and if she has a tan face. I have always listed her eye color as hazel, but I was wondering if the color I have listed effects the amount of work she is getting - which is none (and she should be working). I know the CDs are very particular with details, including eye color. Most people at first say blue - but they are not, and they are not a green either. I have her new photos to view, if interested please PM me - thank you. Anybody else have this issue?

How about writing "blue-green?" Often CDs want light color or brown.. I am not so sure if green or blue matters so much. They sound beautiful to me! good luck.

Thank you, good info. I just wasn't sure because I have heard that without a photo, CDs pull up models/actors by certain criteria in a database and go from there. ??? I didn't know if I listed as a different color she may get looked at more.

Dear dr,
Rest assured that your daughter isn't missing out on jobs simply because of her eye color. Her tan face may be a separate issue, however. You may wish to read my thread on "Suntans for Headshots,"on page two of the HEADSHOTS AND RESUMES section.
If your child's eyes have brown or gold tones in them, list them as "Hazel," If not, list them as "Blue-Green."
