I am New to the model game so feel free to discount this advice completely.In my life experience,it never pays to Jump unless you have a safe place to land.
In this case a safe place for your daughter.
In your place I would 1)see if I can get flextime from employer.2)consider getting a PM shift/job while you try the gosees/shoots.
3)Make contacts on gosees to maybe share expenses (gas,tolls,parking)with like minded Parents.
Castlerock is right about your child"s money.You are just the custodian not the moneymaker.
If your child has the X-factor than taking it slowly will not change the outcome whereas quitting your job just might,if you can't afford to do the gosees(tolls,parking,GAS)your DD's chances evaporate.
