Does anyone have any feedback on workshops/intensives for kids at "The Broadway Experience"? I'm looking into it for my DD . . .

A friend's daughter did it last summer and had a great experience. she had also done BAA and compared them as very similar and excellent experiences but said the B'way Experience was more balanced on each discipline as opposed to having a major at BAA. I have also spoken with the owner a number of times, it has just never worked with my dd's schedule to date, but he seems very professional.

Call the owner. He's very informative. Perhaps one of the reasons it has not been talked about on the boards is because #1, it's only been around for, I believe, a year and a half and #2, it's a taped audition instead of a live audition (That could be a good thing for someone who is not in the NYC vicinity.)That was actually a deterrent for me originally as I would not have known how to put together a tape, so I called him and sent him my dd's resume. He approved her based on the experience of her resume without having to do a taped audition. However the timing just did not work out in the end with my dd's schedule. GL.
