Hey all,

My son is taking dance in the Central/No. NJ area, but now we're looking for a higher level of dance instruction. I'm in the Union County, NJ area. Can anyone recommend a rebutable, and hopefully reasonable dance instructor for ballet, small classes, and also tap/jazz? Any names would be great. Thx!

New Jersey School of Ballet has 3 locations--Livingston, Morristown and Somerville. It's more about the dancing with them than the recital, although I do beleive they have recitals. If you're looking for private instruction, they may be able to make a reccomendation.

Woodbridge School of Dance, Dance Starz Academy, Across The Floor, Just to name a few. They're all in Central Jersey

My sisters have only been dancing for about one year and are already at an extremely advanced levels of both ballet and modern. They have been studying dance at Sharron Miller Academy of Dance in Montclair.

Theater Arts Dance America (TADA) in Verona is also extremely good...I have seen AMAZING dancers come out of their program

Thanks, everyone. I've heard mixed about NJ School of Ballet, anyone else? I have also heard about NJ Ballet Dance Ensemble....something like that, out of Madison (at Drew University?).

Premier Dance in Somerset County has an excellent reputation. The comp teams always place at Nationals.
