Well for starters, that is not an "audition notice". It is a solicitation for you to sign up to their event which appears to be a weekend thing that will include some type of seminar, classes, and/or workshops which will end in a showcase for "industry professionals".

Industry professionals usually mean maybe an agent, some managers, or perhaps a casting director.

The cost of that event seems reasonable. Ipop or IMTA charge THOUSANDS for something similar. You just have to understand that there may be hundreds of people signing up for this thing so your chances of being signed by an agent or manager at something like this are probably slim at best just because of the amount of people that will likely be there.

If you are getting two days of classes and seminars that might help you better understand the industry plus a showcase, then 175 dollars does not seem unreasonable. I would however want to know how many people are expected to attend, who their "industry professionals" will be and if there are any other costs involved. I would also like to know what is being taught in the class or seminar. These type of things are usually for people just starting out and trying to learn about the business.

As I said $175 is not unreasonable for an event like this if you think you can learn a few things and gain a better understanding of the industry....as long as you realize that this is not an "audition".
