Ok im going to be doing a mail out to agents and managers
Im 14 i live in la and i dont have any credits besides school plays..and I was wondering Did any of you send out cover letters when you first started out?Should I send Out a Cover letter and is s can anyone give me a good example of a cover letter?thanx

Your questions are answered all over this message board. Take the time to read all you can and also take advantage of the additional resources that are listed in the links and books suggested.

Re: cover letters... Always send a cover letter with any agent or manager submission. While making it short and sweet, state what type of representation you are seeking, let them know a little bit about yourself and list what you are currently working on, whether it's a play or a class you are taking. Also have your parent sign it, since you are still a minor.
