On February 24 I have an audition for the BAA. If I make it in it qualifies me for some intensives and the one day Master Classes. They say to get there and be prepared by 11am for a dance call and then will later move on to voice or acting, whichever you are majoring in.

However, later in the email it says that the Dance call is not necessary yaddah yaddah but something about the email makes me feel like it is and I should go to the dance call at 11.

This definately sounds like a confusing post and I'm sorry for that lol.. I was just wondering if anyone hadany experience in auditioning for BAA and could answer my question which is:

Is the dance call mandatory?

BAA is a great place.
We love all the classes and instructors there.
Dont stress about the dance part, especially if you are going in for voice or acting.
Also dont be afraid to send them an email with you question.

I auditioned for voice in Philly, didn't go to the dance call, and was accepted.

I was wondering if anyone has previously attended the BAA summer intensive, and what they thought about the classes. I'm deciding between a few intensives, and wanted to know if BAA was a good way to make connections. Thanks!

My daughter had a wonderful time at their Feb. intensive last year. By the way, she didn't audition at all! They had a spot left and she filled it. In the end it's a business and they need to fill all slots for each event.

Does anyone know how much it costs to do a workshop here? I checked on their website but couldn't find anything.
