Avid, Lindsay actually HAD some talent before her mother started letting her go clubbing and drinking when she was 17. That was the beginning of the end of her career.
About Ali.... she has a good voice and she's gorgeous, but she's not going to get very far. First, she's annoying. Second, she's in it for the "fame" and thinks it's "fun" to be famous, give autographs, etc. I'm sure once she makes her CD, she'll be out clubbing (since they pay them to show up at clubs) and she'll go down the Lindsay spiral. I wonder how long it will take?
Hopefully, Dina won't try to put Cody in show business. He really is a cute kid and definitely lights up a room, but I don't think he's interested in any of that stuff.

DianeNYC, I agree, Lindsay was a very talented little girl. I think back to the movies she did as a child, and wow, sad to see where she has ended up. As for her siblings, I have no idea, havent seen either of them to know about their talent. I think it's normal for a teen girl to think being famous would be fun...especially considering that she has watched her sister do a lot of fun stuff (fun to a teen, and one with a questionable values system at that.) The Lohan situation is a reminder to me, that you can have the most talented kid in the world, bright, attractive - all of that, and they can still wind up destroyed, without guidance, parenting and morals. This mom seems like a lost soul to me. It doesnt seem that she has instilled true goals (except to "be famous") or taught a values system, or put boundaries in place to identify right from wrong.....no child can survive in that environment, no matter how talented.
