Hi everyone. I'm fifteen years old and trying to figure out the best way to break into the business. Last year I submitted to a handful of agencies but didn't get any responses. Since my resume isn't the most impressive (I've done youth theater for ten years now, no proffessional credits. I do have plenty of training though...), I was wondering if i should try to get a manager instead, since it seems like it isnt as big of a leap.

If so, does anyone have any reccomendations for managers for youth/teen in the LA/San diego area?

Thanks so much.

Her is a thread for teens getting started. It explains a bit about the manager situation and also that you are at the most difficult age to find representation because production companies would prefer to hire an 18 year old to play younger. But, don't give up! Keep up the training and keep submitting. You just have to keep at it. If you want it bad enough, it will happen. http://bbs.backstage.com/eve/f.../f/9611031/m/6061061
