HI Yes, Joy will be our contact person here in GA. She is so nice and very excited about representing for Osbrink. That's great for your DD! I believe Jayme runs J Pervis and Joy runs Osbrink's satelite office, but J Pervis is a sister agency of Osbrink, so you get the best of both worlds! Have you submitted your DD to J Pervis yet?

No, this is what happened. My DD was going to another acting school in Conyers and her acting teacher recommended me to bring her to a workshop J Pervis was having. Because I am new to Georgia and the business, I had never heard of Joy Pervis, neither Jayme. At the workshop, is where I met Jayme, a casting director, Gary McCoy, and one of the parents who kids are signed with J Pervis. At the end of the workshop, they did an evaluation of all the actors, and Jayme and Gary told me that my DD had alot of Camera and Stage presence, and great personality, but she needed to work on delivering her lines as if she was having a conversation. Now, other than participating in probably one play, and one audition, she has no prior experience. So, out of that workshop I found The Company Acting Studio, who is regarded a one of the best acting schools in Atlanta. If you go to their website you'll see Joy and a hole bunch of children you'll probably reconize in the industry.
All of this lead me to realize that this industry is about networking as much as talent, because even though Jayme couldn't recommend any acting schools, she kept talking about her relationship with Lucinia and John at this school. So I thought that this would give my daughter the best training she need to get experience in and around the Atlanta area, so that in November, when J Pervis does another casting call, she'll be ready.
How about you? How did your daughter get signed with Osbrink?
