There might be a separate line for kids sent by agents and managers. For some reason I can't recall if they did that last year. I vaguely remember something like that. Maybe someone else can remember.

donnastagemon, do you mean you skipped the first day of grinch or annie. It's confusing because some grinch posts got dropped into the annie thread. Just want to make sure people who plan to audition are not confused. It was my understanding that for Grinch, agented kids went on the call back day only, but for ANNIE, agented kids went to the open call (first day) but stood in a seperate line.

kipmil, I doubt the orphans will be double cast. They weren't for the equity tour of Annie. Those girls did 8 or more shows a week. For the non-equity tour they are looking for an adult orphan who will also be the child wrangler. If they do find an adult that's one less part for a child. Then only six roles would be available including Annie.

Actingfan, you are correct. For Annie, they did not double cast for the equity tour. Unlikely they will double cast for this tour. Thanks for pointing it out. Wink

I'm not auditioning.. but my friends who are twins are.

They've done ANNIE so many times lol. Both of them were cast as Annie at different times. One time one was Annie and the other was Tessie. And another one was Annie and the other was I think Duffy.

There very good, I hope they get in. They are 15 - will be 16 in July and look 10.

Hi All,

I'm new to this message board. My daughter and I are making the trek from Alabama to NYC for the auditions this weekend. Thanks for all the great info on how it will work. Our only other experience was the regional open call for Lion King (which we too found disappointing).

Quick question about Annie ---- it's non-union, but paid, right? How much do the roles generally pay?

Thanks... T

Welcome to the board. Good luck to your DD. Enjoy your trip to NY!

The pay will be "professional" pay. I don't know what the rate is for this non union production. Anyone know this?

Thanks, Kipmil. I'm excited about the NY trip. I lived there the summer of '91, but haven't been back since. Been a lot of changes!
